Hot tack is a critical property of flexible packaging materials, including plastic films and composite films. The Testshine TS-HTT1 Hot Tack Tester is designed to rapidly evaluate the hot tack strength of plastic film substrates and flexible packaging composite films immediately after heat sealing at a defined temperature and pressure. By replicating the packaging bag production process, the instrument performs a direct peel (mechanical) test on the heat-sealed section to determine its hot tack performance.

Key Features

• Temperature, pressure, and dwell time are all fully adjustable, with independent temperature control for the upper and lower sealing knives, allowing each to be set separately.
• Pneumatic clamps ensure secure sample tightening, supported by a bottom-mounted single-cylinder synchronous circuit design.
• An anti-sticking upgrade option is available for the sealing knife.
• The temperature sensor is easy to calibrate, and digital P.I.D. temperature control enables highly accurate temperature regulation.
