The TS-IB1 Internal Bond Tester is a laboratory instrument for measuring the internal bond strength of paperboard, also known as Z-direction tensile strength. It applies a controlled compression and an automated Z-direction pull to the specimen, and it is built around a high-precision load cell, a stepper motor with a precision ball screw drive, and a high-resolution color touch screen. It measures from 10 to 1000 kPa with a resolution of 0.1 kPa and an accuracy of ±0.5%. It is designed to test to ISO 15754, TAPPI T541, and GB/T 31110-2014.

1. High Precision and Repeatability

The instrument reads force values through a high-precision load cell. A high-speed sampling chip controls data acquisition, and a stepper motor drives a precision ball screw. Together with carefully engineered, precision-machined components, this design delivers high accuracy and repeatability.

The tensile (peel) test speed, adhesion pressure, compression time, and other parameters can be preset and changed as needed. This makes the instrument well suited to experiments and analysis at schools, research institutions, and other organizations.
